Minimal design, maximum acoustic performance

System 3400 is our single glazed mullion-free system with glass to glass connections for a clean, sharp aesthetic with maximum transparency.

Different glass types combine with our high-performance acoustic doors to achieve a wide range of acoustic performances. Rw 40dB glazing with Rw40dB door tested at Dw 40dB in our acoustic studio. Yes, that is an installed sound reduction offering designers a true minimal high performance system.

A variety of profile heights give the opportunity to style the product to the space. 25mm profiles give a minimal, floating glass look. For a more industrial feel, use 50mm frames with aluminium glazing bars.

Technical details

Integral head deflection: The glazing and door can move freely within the head profile, preserving vertical deflection. Using a deflection bar over the door allowed Strahle to design a mitred door frame detail, enhancing the quality of the product.

3 Part floor profile: A removable face with glass clamp allows for precise installation of acoustic insulation, levelling of glass and flexibility of install.

We only use the highest quality aerospace grade aluminium and offer both painted finishes and anodised aluminium finishes.  The anodised finish captures the beauty of metal bringing out the soft sheen of the base material. Particularly complimentary to timber veneers. Available in six colours to give design freedom.

Strähle precision mitred glazed corners: A signature design detail that reduces a glazed corner to a hairline delivering a clean elegant detail.

AR64 Door: Rw 40dB

Double glazed aluminium framed door leaf. Only 64mm thick yet still achieving Rw 40dB. The mitred frame and leaf profiles have a sharp, quality aesthetic. Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. Compatible with all systems to allow a flexible approach to project wide acoustics giving a high performance option.

A 12mm clear toughened frameless glazed leaf offers a minimal aesthetic yet retains the acoustic performance of a framed door. The elegant, slim mitred door frame is a subtle, sophisticated detail . Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. Compatible with all systems to allow a flexible approach to project wide acoustics giving a cost effective, high performance option.

Solid door set within timber or aluminium frame. Two cores allows performance to be tailored to requirements. Both doors sit in the 64mm system footprint and are available in a range of timber veneers and laminates. Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. Compatible with all Strahle systems.

ST40 Door: Rw 34dB

Delivering exceptional acoustic performance tested and certified to Rw 34dB as a component and not as an averaged result across a glazed elevation. This door was originally designed for the Fladgate project with Hann Tucker acousticians. Robust sliding mechanism incorporates a full width acoustic seal. The mitred frame and leaf profiles have a sharp, quality aesthetic. Compatible with all Strahle systems.

ST12 Door: Rw 24dB

12mm clear toughened frameless glazed sliding leaf offers a minimal aesthetic with clean lines and wide clear openings. By removing the frame the door disappears making it ideal for use with single glazed systems. Compatible with all systems to allow a flexible approach to project wide acoustics giving a cost effective option.

AR100 Door: Rw 42dB/44dB

Double glazed aluminium framed door leaf. Designed to be used in double glazed systems at 100mm deep.  An industry first for a glazed door achieving Rw 44dB, an exceptional performance achieved using a double rebate and double drop down acoustic seals.  Also available at Rw 42dB with a single acoustic drop seal for less critical applications. Side hinge mechanism allows for full width drop down seal and increased acoustic performance. The mitred frame and leaf profiles add to the premium quality feeling. Compatible with all Strahle double glazed systems.
